What it is

AnimeJapan is Japan's largest anime industry exhibition, gathering studios, publishers, streaming services and merchandise makers under one roof with stage programs, voice-actor appearances, trailer premieres and exclusive goods. After thirteen editions at Tokyo Big Sight, AnimeJapan 2027 (its 14th) relocates to INTEX Osaka. Public Days are March 27–28, 2027; Business Days are March 29–30, 2027.

For a foreign visitor, AnimeJapan is the single best place to see the coming year's anime lineup and meet the industry, in a well-organized, ticketed format. The 2027 move to Osaka is significant — if you previously planned around Tokyo, note the venue is now in western Japan (Kansai), in Osaka's bay area.

Ticketing

The dates and Osaka venue are officially announced, but detailed ticket pricing and sales channels for 2027 were not yet published at research time. In recent Tokyo years, public-day tickets (around ¥2,200–2,400) were sold in advance online; expect a similar system. Stage events for hit titles often require separate advance applications.
