What it is

GiGO is the arcade chain that took over SEGA's former Akihabara amusement locations after a rebrand. This entry covers GiGO Akihabara Building 2, about two minutes from Akihabara Station's south Electric Town exit. It centers on crane games (UFO catchers) with figure, plush and character-goods prizes, plus a GiGO collab-cafe stand on the 2nd floor, and accepts a wide range of cashless payments alongside cash.

Note the chain runs several numbered Akihabara buildings; the long-standing GiGO Akihabara No.1 building (the ex-SEGA tower) closed on 31 August 2025, so check which building you're heading to.
