What it is
Super Potato is one of the best-known retro video game stores in the world, occupying the 3rd to 5th floors of the Kitabayashi Building, a short walk from Akihabara Station. It carries a deep selection of vintage hardware and software spanning Nintendo (Famicom/Super Famicom), SEGA, PlayStation, PC Engine and more — from cartridges and discs to consoles, accessories and game-related goods.
The 5th floor houses a retro game arcade, so it doubles as a place to actually play classic titles. It's a must for collectors hunting boxed games and hard-to-find hardware.
