What it is
Akihabara Dear Stage is an idol bar and small live venue in the DEMPA Building in Sotokanda. Opened in 2007, it's famous as the birthplace of idol group Dempagumi.inc; the staff are performers who serve drinks and take turns singing on a compact in-store stage.
For a foreign visitor: it operates mainly in the evening (roughly weekdays 18:00–22:00, weekends/holidays from 17:00, no new entry after about 21:30, varying for events). It runs on a charge/seating system rather than being a casual café. This is a Japanese-language live-bar environment, so assume limited English and confirm photo/recording rules on site.
