⚠️ Last chance: exhibition ends August 31, 2026

The life-size RX-0 Unicorn Gundam statue — 19.7m tall and around 49 tons — has stood in Festival Plaza on the 2nd floor of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba since September 24, 2017, when it replaced an earlier full-size RX-78-2 Gundam statue. Bandai Namco has confirmed the statue's display will conclude permanently on August 31, 2026, closing out an almost nine-year run. From June 20, 2026 the statue wears a special "Ver. TWC FINAL" finale decal decoration designed by mechanical designer Hajime Katoki, alongside farewell events and commemorative programming through the closing date. If you're planning a Japan trip before September 2026, this is very likely your last chance to see it in Odaiba — check the official site for the latest schedule before visiting.

Transformation shows

Viewing is free and the statue can be photographed freely at any time from the photo deck set up in front of it (a paid professional-photo service is also available on-site). Daytime transformation performances — the statue shifting between Unicorn Mode and Destroy Mode — run daily at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00. After dark, a "WALL-G" video and lighting show projects onto the DiverCity building daily from 19:00 to 21:30, roughly every 30 minutes. The plaza is a short walk (about 5 minutes) from either Tokyo Teleport Station (Rinkai Line) or Daiba Station (Yurikamome), and sits right outside The Gundam Base Tokyo, Bandai's official Gunpla flagship store, on the same complex.
