What it is

K-BOOKS is a used/anime-goods retailer, and its Ikebukuro Otome-kan is one of the defining shops of Otome Road, the stretch near Sunshine City dedicated to female fans (fujoshi). The Otome-kan specializes in character goods for otome games, BL titles and select female-oriented works, much of it secondhand.

Because K-BOOKS operates multiple specialized Ikebukuro branches along Otome Road — including a Live-kan, Chara-kan and doujin/novel shops — foreign fans can hunt for hard-to-find used merchandise, doujinshi and badges across several stores in a short walk. The Otome-kan lists hours of 12:00–20:00 weekdays and 11:30–20:00 weekends/holidays (buyback closes 30 min earlier). These shops occasionally relocate, so check current locations.
