What it is

Maidreamin is one of the largest maid café chains in Japan, with several Akihabara branches; this is the main store on the 6th floor of the Sumiyoshi Building. It markets heavily to international tourists and is often recommended as a good first maid café.

For a foreign visitor: it's open daily (roughly weekdays 11:30–23:00, weekends/holidays 10:30–23:00). The charge system is an ¥880 per-hour table charge with at least one order required; extensions are the same rate. Menus come in multiple languages and overseas maids are on staff, so English is generally workable. Cash and cards (Visa/Mastercard) are accepted. Photos of food and the menu are fine, but photos with the maids are via the paid cheki service only.
