What it is

Opened March 6, 2021 as Suruga-ya's third Nagoya store, the Trading Card & Board Game Hall ("トレカ・ボードゲーム館") is a specialty spin-off of the nearby Suruga-ya Nagoya Osu Main Store, about a 3-minute walk away — focused entirely on trading card games (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Duel Masters, Pokémon Card Game and others) and both Japanese and imported board/tabletop games, new and secondhand. The shop has an in-store "duel space" where customers can play what they've bought.

Good to know

It's open every day, 12:00–20:00 (hours have shifted later since the March 2021 opening-day schedule of 11:00–20:00 — the official page also flags short seasonal shortenings around stocktaking days, so it's worth a quick check before a special trip). The nearest entrances are Kamimaezu Station (Meijo/Tsurumai Lines) Exit 8, about a 5-minute walk, or Osu Kannon Station Exit 2, about 7 minutes. If you're buying or selling anything outside cards and board games, staff will point you to the Main Store instead. It sits within the same Osu arcade network as Mandarake Nagoya and Jungle Nagoya — see our Osu, Nagoya otaku guide for the full district layout.
