What it is

Tokyo Character Street runs along the B1 level of First Avenue Tokyo Station on the Yaesu side, a single corridor lined with around 20-plus official, brand-run character shops — so you can hit many franchises in one stop without leaving the station.

Tenants include the Jump Shop (One Piece, Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen and more), an official Pokémon shop, Studio Ghibli's Donguri Kyowakoku, the Sanrio (Hello Kitty) shop, plus TV-network stores (NHK and the major networks), Moomin, Rilakkuma/San-X, Miffy, Ultraman/Kamen Rider lines and rotating pop-ups. Many sell Tokyo-Station-limited goods. It's entirely indoors and outside the ticket gates — an easy stop while changing trains. Tax-free and English support vary by shop.
